Acid and Alkali resisting coating compound

ACALOR SYSTEM - 23A is a Two Component System, one part is high build solid Epoxy with pigmentation of different colours & second part is hardener which is Polyamine base. It is a solvent free coatings.

Acalor System - 23A cures by chemical action to a hard tough film
Acalor System - 23A has excellent adhesion to steel, concrete, wood and other surfaces (Except Copper)
Acalor System - 23A films retain a slight flexibility which prevents cracking, chipping or peeling.
Acalor System - 23A is unaffected by most alkalis, acids, solvents, oil and grease.
Acalor System - 23A is not softened at Temperatures upto 95°C.
Acalor System - 23A can be applied by brush to give a dry film thickness of 100 - 120 microns per coat.

Acalor System - 23A is a special coating material for protecting concrete surfaces. Processing Equipments and structural members against corrosive fumes and splash or in submerged service.

Surface preparation:

Concrete : The concrete surfaces must be thoroughly cleaned by means of wire/soft brushes to remove all loose particles, dust, dirt, etc.

Metal : Abrasion blasting like sand/shot/grit blasting is recommended to achieve a surface upto 21/2 specifications of SSPC - SP - 10 i.e. to near white metal.

Degreasing is done to remove oil and greases. Organic solvents ( TCE ) alkaline, solutions, steam, hot water detergents will completely remove greasy substances.

The surface must be absolutely dry.

Application : It can be applied by brush or by conventional spraying equipment.

Packing : It can be available in various sizes.

Acalor System-23A have excellent Resistance to the following chemicals and temperature upto 95°C.

Hydrochloric Acid (20%) Aluminium Chloride (20%)
Nitric Acid (5%) Butyl Alcohol (20%)
Sulphuric Acid (10%) Ethyl Alcohol (20%)
Phosphoric Acid (10%) Glycerol (20%)
