Structural and acid, alkali resisting coating compound

ARCOLITE is a Two Component Solvent Based System, one part is high build solid
Epoxy with pigmentation of different anticorrosive pigments, corrosion inhibitors and speciality additives & second part is hardener.

Arcolite cures by chemical action to a tough film.
Arcolite has excellent adhesion to steel, concrete, wood and other surfaces (Except Copper)
Arcolite films retain flexibility, which prevents cracking, chipping or peeling.
Arcolite has excellent resistance to alkalies, acids, solvents, oil and grease.
Arcolite is not softened at Temperatures upto 95° c.
Arcolite can be applied by brush to give a dry film thickness of 75-100 microns per coat.

Arcolite is a special coating material for protecting concrete surfaces. Processing Equipments, and structural members against corrosive fumes and splash or in submerged service.

Surface preparation :

Concrete : The concrete surfaces must be thoroughly cleaned by means of wire/soft brushes to remove all loose particles, dust, dirt, etc.

Metal : Abrasion blasting like sand/shot/grit blasting is recommended to achieve a surface upto 2½ specifications of SSPC - SP - 10 i.e. to near white metal.

Degreasing is done to remove oil and greases. Organic solvents ( TCE ) alkaline, solutions, steam, hot water detergents will completely remove greasy substances.

The surface must be absolutely dry.

Application : It can be applied by brush or by conventional spraying equipment.
Packing : It will be available in various sizes.
