High Build Solventess Epoxy Acid, Alkali Resistant coating


ARCOAT is a Two pack epoxy polyamine cured solventless coating with high gloss and chemical resistance for metallic as well as concrete surfaces.

  
 
Arcoat provides a hard, smooth and tough impermeable barrier against attack of corrosive ions over a PH range 1 to 14
Arcoat has excellent adhesion to steel and concrete surfaces.
Arcoat excellent chemical resistance (i.e.acid, alkali, solveents,etc.
Arcoat has low maintenance & ease of repairability
Arcoat has excellent hardness and good flexibility
Arcoat recommended for off shore platforms,aquaeous and severe chemical corrosive environmets, structure coating situated in aggressive enviroments etc.
Arcoat has excellent erosion & abrasion resistance.
Arcoat has been approved for food grade quality and can be suitably used for coating substrates coming in contact with food.

Surface preparation : SA 2.5 / ISO 2501 / SSPC SP-10 / NACE 2 (It covers the requirement of near white blast cleaning of metal surface by the use of abrasive )

For concrete surfaces it should be free of loose lattice. Moisture in concrete <10%. Degreasing is done to remove oil & grease

Environment condition : Relative humidity <85% Atmospheric temp. >15°C.

Cleaning Solvent : ACC-1

Thinner : Thinner should not be used. this will adversely affect performance of coating.
