ARCOY RUBBER Division offers a broad range of rubber lining materials to arrest various corrsive and erosive enviorments. Rubber products with varying characteristics are compounded for many different applications through the selection and combination of elastomeric bonding agents and fillers.
For on-site rubber linings of large diameter tanks and equipment, ARCOY produces continuous rubber sheeting. Most of the liners manufactured at ARCOY can be either hot bonded* or cold bonded** of course the ebonite ( herd rubber ) lines would have to be hot bonded.
* Hot bonded : By autoclave under pressure or hot water.
** Cold bonded : Rubber sheets are vulcanized before application.
For the hard rubber range of materials, we provide our RSlll adhesive system and for the soft rubber lines, a hot bonding system and a cold bonding system are used.
- Hot bonding system 1 : Three component system, primer 170, primer 270 and top coat adhesive ARCO-EX is recommended. This system is used for open steaming without presure or for hot water vulcanizing
- Hot bonding system 1 : Threee component system, primer 170 P and primer 270 G and a top coat adhesive ARCO-EX is recommended. this system is used for open steaming under pressure or vulcaning by hot air under pressure.
- Cold bonding system : These systemare used for application of pre-vulcainzed rubber lines. These are a 2 component system comprising of a primer Acroub used in conjuction with Arcocyn. Upon this primer, adhesivre ArcoAD1 or ArcvoAD2 must be applied. Typiod to adhesive a full strength of bond varies depending upon the conditions.
