ARFURANE - 'R' is a Furane Resin based cement.

ARFURANE - 'R' an impermeable cement is a chemical resisting cement with great resistance to a wide diversity of chemical compounds including acids, alkalies, oils, brines, solvents etc. It possess great resistance to erosion and sets to a hard and tough jointing and bedding material when used for setting bricks and tiles in the lining of tanks, channels, floors etc. Normally Furane cements are susceptible to cold, hot and damp atmospheres which have a profound influence on the setting mechanism.

The setting of ARFURANE-R is affected by change in temperatures and becomes very slow when the temperature drops. This could be overcome by keeping the site warm with heaters. The solution may be placed near warm places, the mixing could be done in warm place, the bricks may be stacked in checkered fashion, around the fire or steam coil.

The ARFURANE - R powder contains a wide range of fillers for different environmental conditions and liquid to powder ratio may be changed accordingly.

 
ARFURANE - R may be used to join acid-proof brick or carbon brick masonry for chemical process industries, steel Mills, Tubing manufacturers, Electrolyzing Plants, Oil Refineries, Rayon Plants, Fertilizers and Petro Chemical Plants and many other uses.

ARFURANE - R can also be used in the construction of brick or tile floors for food industries such as Dairy, Ice cream, Butter, cheese, Meat Packing, Brewing, Soft Drinks, Jams and preserve, Fish Packing, Canning Frozen Foods, Candy and Chocolate, Sugar Refineries, Vinegar, Pickle Manufacturing and many others.

ARFURANE - R can be used to join stone-ware or terra-cotta pipe for sewage lines carrying acid or alkali wastes and for acid sewage disposal and neutralising plants.

ARFURANE - R can be used in the construction of Tanks, Towers, Vats, Stacks, Man-holes, Gutters, Floors, Neutralizers, Pits and all types of equipment that are subject to chemical attack.

ARFURANE - R should be used within 4 to 6 months from the date of Mfg. since its storage life is not more than this period.

Average : Shelf life of ARFURANE - R is 4 to 6 months.

ARFURANE - C is a special carbon filled material employing the same solution as

ARFURANE - R. It is available for use where high thermal resistance is desired.

ARFURANE - C is more suitable for phosphoric acid and hydrofluoric acid digestors lining.
