Aro Primer is a bitumen based primer and contain volatile inflammable solvents. It is a thin black liquid. It is applied by brush over the cleaned dry concrete surface to act as primer and to increase the bonding property between concrete and mastic
membrane.

 

 
 
Steel surfaces should be free from rust, scale, grease, oil, etc. Preparation can be done by wire brushing, sand or shot blasting or by chemical etching.

Concrete surfaces must be cleaned of all lubricants, previous coatings etc. If the surfaces are contaminated by acid, it has to be neutralized and washed with fresh water and allowed to become absolutely dry prior to application.
