AROON-10 is an epoxy based cement.

AROON-10 Cement is a prominent member of Arcoy's range of anti corrosive cements which sets by chemical action to a hard strong mass which is not affected by temperatures up to 100o C.
AROON-10 have the exceptional physical properties in addition to chemical resistance with negligible shrinkage.

AROON-10 is also having good adherence property to concrete, metal and other surfaces.

AROON-10 has been employed with great advantage for rendering floor, foundations, channels, tanks etc. due to its outstanding chemical properties and physical resistance.

 
The ease at which Aroon-10 can be spread to the required thickness, make it particularly suitable for the production of homogeneous joint less monolithic surface of great chemical resistance with exceptional mechanical properties.

AROON '10' cement is available in three component systems. The Solution, the Catalyst and the Powder. 10 parts by weight of catalyst is to be added to 90 parts by weight of solution and to be mixed thoroughly. To this mixture add 500 to 600 parts by weight powder slowly while stirring to make even and uniform paste.

 
Steel surfaces should be free from rust, scale, grease, oil, etc. Preparation can be done by wire brushing, sand or shot blasting or by chemical etching.

Concrete surfaces must be cleaned of all lubricants, previous coatings etc. If the surfaces are contaminated by acid, it has to be neutralized and washed with fresh water and allowed to become absolutely dry prior to AROON-10 application. All the surfaces are to be primed before the application of Aroon-10. The primer is made with 90 parts by weight of solution to 10 parts by weight of catalyst.

AROON-10 is to be mixed in small batches which can be utilized within 20 to 30 minutes.

AROON-10 will get hard within few hours and in most cases can be placed in service within 24 hours. AROON-10 attains its optimum strength in 7 days time.
