AROON-20 is an epoxy based cement.

AROON-20 cement is a prominent member of Arcoy's range of anti corrosive cement mortar which set by chemical action to a hard strong mass which is unaffected by temperatures up to 100°C and has exceptional chemical resistance and physical properties like abrasion resistance dimensional stability, negligible shrinkage and excellent adhesion to ceramic, concrete, metal and other surfaces.

AROON-20 cement is mainly used for laying and joining acid proof bricks or tiles.

 
AROON-20 cement is available in three component system namely the Solution, the Catalyst and the Powder. 10 parts by the weight of Catalyst is added to 90 parts by the weight of Solution and to be mixed thoroughly. To one part of this mixture this mixture 3.5 to 4 parts Powder by weight is to be slowly added while stirring to make even and uniform paste. Now the mortar is ready for laying of acid proof bricks or tiles .Only limited quantity is prepared at a time which can be used within 30 minutes.

AROON-20 will get hard within few hours and it will attain its optimum strength and
resistance in seven days.

NOTE : The liquid solution and catalyst must be weighed accurately.

Concrete surfaces must be cleaned of all lubricants, previous coatings etc. If the surfaces are contaminated by acid, the same to be neutralized and washed with fresh water and allowed to become absolutely dry prior to AROON-10 application.

All the surfaces are to be primed before the application of Aroon-10. The primer is made with 90 parts by weight of solution to 10 parts by weight of catalyst.

AROON-20 is used in chemical, sugar, pharmaceuticals, dairy, food, textiles and brewery industries.
