Arzamite
is resistant to all acid, both organic and inorganic except certain strongly oxidizing ones. Arzamite is available in 4 Grades viz. Arzamite-1, Arzamite-2, Arzamite-3 and Arzamite-4. It has got better resistance and inertness to strong oxidizing acids and salts compared to Furane Cements and equals all other Phenolis. In addition to IS4832, the product meets with International Standards, especially Russian/ Soviet Specifications for chemical Protection works of pronounced requirements of Steel Plants and Fertilizers & Chemical Plants.

Arzamite-1 & 2

a) Are resistant to most Organic Solvent,
b) Are resistant to mild alkalis but not so much resistant to strong alkalis.
c) Can withstand temperature upto 190° C.

Arzamite-3

a) Resistant to Phosphoric Acid, Dilute Hydrofluoric Acid.
b) Can withstand temperature upto 190° C.

Arzamite-4

a) Is resistant to alkalis and acids.
b) Can withstand temperature upto 190° C.

Arzamite leaves no delay in construction because of its quick setting by chemicals action.

Temperature 60° C 20° C 27° C 32° C
Working Time 3 Hrs 1 Hr. 50 Min. 35 Min.
Hardening Time 60 Hrs 24 Hrs 15 Hrs Hrs

Arzamite is extremely dense, - salt cannot penetrate or crystallize within Arzamite joint.

Arzamite is available in two parts- liquid binder and powder mixes on job, forming quick setting Arzamite Mortar-3 parts of powder to 1 parts of powder to 1 part of binder (by weight).

Note: Any water formed on the surface of the Binder should be decanted off. No water should be added to components.

Arzamite is usually applied for jointing acid proof or carbon brick masonry, for:

Chemicals Process Industries, Steel Plants, Tube Manufacturers, Electrolytic Plants, Oil Refineries, Rayon Plants, Pulp & Paper Plants, Dyes & Pigment Plants, Explosive Manufacturers, Smelters, Elector Platers, Glass Manufacturers And Many Other Users.

Arzamite is generally used for construction of brick of tile flooring work in various food and allied Industries.

Arzamite is used in Industries where Chloring is employed. ARZAMITE is used in all Industries where the plant and equipment is subject to Chemical attack.

Arzamite should be used within 2 month time since its storage life is not more than this period.
