Arcozinc is a special primer material to be
applied on the steel. concrete surface which gives excellent
adhesion to the surface as well as the top coat.
Surface Preparation:
Concrete
The concrete surfaces must be thoroughly cleaned by
means of wire/soft brushes to remove all loose particles,
dust, dirt, etc.
Metal
Abrasion blasting like sand/shot/grit blasting is recommended
to achieve a surface upto 2½ specifications of
SSPC - SP - 10 i.e. to near white metal.
Degreasing is done to remove oil and greases. Organic
solvents ( TCE ) alkaline, solutions, steam, hot water
detergents will completely remove greasy substances
The surface must be absolutely dry.
Application
It can be applied by brush or by conventional spraying
equipment.
Packing
It will be available in various sizes.
